Boxes, crates and suitcases… use and reuse!
Without realizing the reason, my steps led me to the attic of the house, forgotten among smells and memories of a past. My gaze stopped on some suitcases, placed in a corner, and old boxes and crates that someone had left, as if they knew that one day they could be reusable.
Today, we are going to reuse some materials in decorating interior and exterior spaces, in an elegant, creative, and economical way.
Boxes and crates are starting to have another kind of purpose besides the usual storage. These pieces are very interesting and versatile, in that they adapt to all kinds of environments, which is due, among other reasons, to their different shapes, colors, textures, and materials. With a coat of varnish, sandpaper, sticker paper, or even paint, abandoned crates can be turned into something completely different, and this may be just what you need to make your home even more beautiful and intimate. Their rhythm marked by fulls and empties easily develop and fit into unique and dynamic games. Need to find a way to tidy and organize that cluttered space? Take wooden or plastic crates and turn them into chests, bookshelves, drawers, shoe racks… you name it… in a huge scenario where imagination is the limit!

If you love animals as much as I do, you can still convert an old suitcase into a fancy bed for your pet.
