Porto, Portugal

Located in one of the most emblematic buildings of the contemporary architecture of the city of Porto and the country itself, it was important to follow the language left by the architect Souto Moura, where the primacy of a minimalist language is the theme followed in the creation of this interior design project.

Through the use of iconic pieces, keeping it simple and ensuring that the space was filled only to its function, so as not to create an environment loaded with the function that would be performed in the daily life lived there, was essential to the extraordinary result. Contrast, color, lights, functionality and tranquility are concepts that become part of the daily life of those who work there.

Planning

We are always looking for interesting projects.

First of all, the designers had to re-plan the accommodation and dismantle several walls to visually expand the space of 343 square meters and let more natural light in. The entire area of the apartment can be conditionally divided into two separate spaces: common areas and a master zone. In the first part, there is a combined kitchen and living room, which also consists of two sub-zones: a lounge area opposite the fireplace and an area for receiving guests.
